Lada Vesta Sport received a seriously redesigned 1.8-liter power unit. Now its output is 145 hp. s., with almost 190 Nm of torque. With it, the model will accelerate in 9.6 seconds to 100 km/h (the dynamics of the original Vesta is 10.2 seconds) and reach 198 km/h instead of the usual 186 km/h.

All this was made possible thanks to camshafts with a modified profile, a redesigned fuel system with increased pressure in the lines, a retuned valve timing system, as well as upgraded fuel injection and exhaust systems.

However, if we recall the past automotive experiences of the Lada Sport company, and it is these specialists who are responsible for creating “warmed up” models, then the behavior of Vesta Sport on the road should be significantly different from the habits of the civilian Vesta. Firstly, of course, there is a different engine. AVTOVAZ representatives have not yet provided detailed information about it, but most likely, under the hood of the new product there will be a modified 1.8-liter unit, the output of which will be brought close to the o. I’m sure the engineers could easily raise the power even higher, but which buyers of domestic cars are interested in increased tax rates?

The car came out just when interest in the “stock” version began to gradually decline. The “hot” version will easily attract new buyers to the car. Is the game worth the candle? Everything will depend on the price tag. Considering the cost of the original Vesta, we can predict the starting price will be around 800 thousand rubles. It seems like a lot, but you simply won’t find similar cars for that kind of money...

It can’t be said that Vesta’s sport version looks very different from the regular version, but the added elements are enough to make it stand out on the road among other cars. The first thing that catches your eye is the bright yellow color; it is the same color that the Lada Sport Rosneft team wears at the WTCC championships. It is diluted by the black color in which the roof, rear-view mirrors, lower parts of the front and rear bumpers, as well as X-shaped stampings on the side of the body are painted.
