Review of the best stamped wheels for VAZ

I bought the disks two weeks ago, maybe more... but only installed them yesterday...

Initially, I went straight to the officials and while the manager was looking for their exact price, I approached them...bent over...and read the MefroWheels

..."what the hell?" I thought right away... the guy told me the price... a little more than 1000 rubles per disc... but I immediately asked “I don’t need these, are there Togliatti ones?”, to which he answered me “we are an official Lada dealer and we sell exclusively products supplied from Togliatti...” . Some kind of crap I thought, but we went around several cars in the showroom and all of them (Kalina/Granta/Priora/Vesta) had these mefra-shmefras... I was upset and left with nothing...

I searched the Internet for TZSK

14th diameter and found the store closest to me, went and it turned out that they had the last set left... and only 940 rubles per disc...

The further series of events may cause indignation and attacks of “how is this possible?” for most, be careful (sarcasm)

Immediately, having driven away from the store, I headed to the service station to check them on the stand... suddenly they were crooked (so far everything seems to be logical). There they rolled them for me (the mechanic seemed dubious... more likely it was the master's assistant) and it turned out that two wheels were "more or less" and two "damn, they're crooked, well, basically it'll go back..."

After that, at work I’m sitting and wondering in my head “should I go return...or will I go...or return...” And then a good friend of mine...let’s not name him...tells me that I’m worrying in vain and that I need to install them WITHOUT BALANCEING

and drive calmly (he didn’t just say that, but he himself did it himself)…

The reasoning is simple and logical...we have the Belshina tire, produced with all quality checks, as well as the TZSK wheel, which is also produced with all quality checks, i.e. what happens: the tire was made and checked before it came to me... the rim was also checked... the tire and rim are new... why balance them if this was done initially at the factories?

And yet, having arrived at the service station where my wheels were trimmed, I subconsciously expected a catch... And naturally, when they were trimmed and I said that balancing was not needed, first one of the service technicians widened his eyes and asked again 5 times, “Are you sure you don’t need to balance?” "why do you need that?" “It’s going to hit the steering wheel, what are you doing?” “You’ll come back to balance it later anyway,” etc., and then another one came up and again, “How can you not balance it?” “It would be nice if you had a new casting, but these are stamps... they’re all crooked”

Finally, the wheels were wheeled, I folded them and took them home to change my shoes myself... I changed my shoes and eagerly rushed off with my beloved wife together to check for “beating in the steering wheel”

...and as one would expect...
no “beating”, it rides smoothly, quietly, like a ship sailing.
Well, is it worth drawing any conclusions from this...it’s up to you, friends... Personally, I came to the conclusion that when you have a new disk (not Chinese, perhaps) and new tires (again...produced with final quality control), then There is no point in doing balancing... it can worsen the balance. Like this. I'll be happy to discuss. All the best!

Still, it is worth balancing and aligning the marks. You shouldn’t load the chassis for a couple of hundred Re

Before next winter, I think I’ll balance it after two years, although there were no problems. But I’ll probably do it in a large one, because in small taverns, I think it’s unlikely that anyone monitors the tincture of the stand itself

I'll say this, maybe you don't feel the beat. But there are no perfectly straight wheels, as many of those above have already said “it’s a miracle” that you don’t feel any errors. But the chassis of the car can feel it to anyone. For what reason do you not want to play it safe and do the balancing? It’s not expensive and not difficult. But it will definitely be better.

But where is the guarantee that the stand at the service station will be in good working order? More precisely, does this stand undergo annual verification? I asked once, the service officer looked at me like I was crazy...

But in fact, any device must pass verification, and if it does not, then what accuracy of measurements can we talk about? I now remember how they were balancing on a Matiz a year ago... in one place one wheel showed that it was dead, crooked... they hung weights and off they went... it was hitting the steering wheel... we went to another service station, where they asked us, “Why the hell did they put so many weights on you?”

So. What kind of hundred are you talking about, garage ones, if it’s there, you’ll understand whether it’s a crooked roofing felts stand or a master, find a normal hundred, find a normal master. But of course, it’s your business, you can believe... that. you. have. everything. on fire.

I was in a virbak in Dinskaya, in a simple service station, with the guys where I constantly did the seven, they had just installed a new lift, there was even whole rubber bands on the pliers in the package... but they don’t trust the stand, why...

I just bought the same TZSK wheels. At first I wanted mefro, because they were available from the factory and for 2 years there were no problems, I even paid for them, but it turned out that they were not available in the warehouse, but they were TZSK (I was just choosing between TZSK and Mefro), I got them I checked the store at the stand for beats, because... I’ve also heard a lot about marriage - all 4 of mine are normal. Regarding balancing, you really do some kind of miracles. I am a designer myself and understand a little about standards and production, so I will explain what is wrong with you. No one balances wheels and tires at the factory. If this were so, then there would be loads on them, at a minimum. There are no perfect wheels and tires. Each manufacturer has paint marks on the tires (red, yellow, green dots), which mean that this place must be aligned with the nipple in order to obtain a minimum imbalance. There is a standard for all wheels and tires, and for any product in the world there are deviations from the nominal value, in other words, a tolerance. Each manufacturer of any product prescribes this tolerance in the dimensional drawing and technical specifications. Tolerance means that within this deviation the product is not defective. In rims and tires, this tolerance also includes runout, because it exists anyway. Of course, according to the theory of probability, there are wheels and tires that are within par, that is, ideal, but think about it, what is the probability that 4 disks and 4 tires from different manufacturers, selected from a batch in random order, will be ideal? But even if this miracle happens, then the nipple comes into play, which must be installed on the wheel and it also weighs something, even if it’s 5 grams and introduces its own imbalance, which must also be compensated in any case. And yet, not all tire fitters know that it is necessary to align the yellow mark on the tire with the nipple, thus adding imbalance. I was tired of fighting vibration on my former dvenah, and I just didn’t balance the wheels, it didn’t help. I even read that in the tenth family there is a shimmy phenomenon - this is when the vibrations of a wheel coincide with the vibrations of some other unit and resonance occurs, and that this can be potentially treated by changing the weight and dimensions of the wheel. I wrote a lot. In short, everyone needs balancing. Why don't you have vibration - who knows, it's a miracle
