At first glance, the answer to this question is so simple that the very appearance of doubt should cause bewilderment. However, the domestic market and mentality, as usual, makes its own adjustments.
The essence of handicap betting
A handicap is a bet on the victory of a particular team with some adjustment
. If there is a handicap, a handicap is added to the final outcome, and if the final result is in favor of the selected team, the bet wins.
The peculiarity of betting with a handicap or handicap is that bookmakers define any sports competition as a competition of equal chances, 50 to 50, adding a point advantage to one (usually the outsiders) at the expense of the clear favorites of the match. We can say that in this way the cappers' chances are somewhat equalized, which forces them to rely more on luck than on the skill and experience of the sports team.
Handicap betting is very common in American football. When the NLF season begins, millions of Americans and soccer fans from around the world start placing bets. However, a huge number of handicap forecasts are made for basketball and volleyball matches, hockey, rugby and tennis.
Chery Amulet › Logbook › Comparison of gasoline AI - 92 fora (Rosneft) and AI 95 - EKTO (Lukoil)
As much as I drive, I always feed the car with 95 liter gasoline and mostly with Lukoil. But Lukoil is a bit far from home, and right from the window you can see Rosneft, which has a new “improved” 92nd gasoline “FORA”. Well, I think let me try. It costs 50 kopecks more than the usual 92 but not like the 95. At first I didn't notice any difference. It seems to be the same in terms of traction and consumption too. And I thought: why then go for an expensive 5m if there is an alternative at hand. But after 2 weeks, I noticed that when starting off “under load” I began to stall and the thrust seemed to me to be less. I started to pull away in the river, several times in a row and monitor the tachometer. Previously, I experienced a revival from 3 to 4 thousand revolutions and after 4 a sharp jerk. Now there is no revival for you, not even some kind of noticeable failure, after 4 it’s more interesting, but without a breakthrough. I drove to the light bulb + 70 km from above, and went to Lukoil. I filled up 25 liters, drove a little more so that the second one would finally be used up, and tried to move off using the same method. I immediately felt the difference. Everything returned to its place. The dip disappeared, a jerk appeared :) The only other thing I noticed was in the evening, when it was already cool outside and the sun had gone, the acceleration was a little more dynamic. Perhaps this is subjective, but it seemed so to me.
I also want to put new spark plugs. But the question is which ones? Now they are NGK No. 11. But I didn’t know which ones to take and took these last time “quickly” because I saw somewhere on the internet that these were suitable. So which ones are really needed? Can we fork out for iridium ones? Will this give me a little more power? :)

Types of odds
There are positive, negative and zero handicaps.
Plus handicap
, as a rule, is given to a clear outsider. If a player placed a bet on the victory of an outsider with a handicap (+2.5), and the match ended with a minimal victory for the favorite, then we can say that the bet was successful.
Negative handicap
, accordingly, is set in relation to the favorite. So, if the capper placed a bet with a minus handicap (-1.5), and the match ended in a crushing victory for the favorite, then the bet, accordingly, turned out to be winning.
The essence of zero handicap
is that the player will win if the team he bet on wins, and will receive a refund if the match ends in a draw.
In addition, there are European and Asian handicaps, which are essentially similar to the European and Asian total.
European handicaps
There are both decimal and integer, providing for return. So, if a player bets on a favorite with a minus handicap (-1.5), then the bet will be winning if the team wins by at least two goals, otherwise the bettor will fail.
Asian handicap
works on the same principle as Asian total. So, if a player bets on the favorite with a minus handicap (-0.75), then the bet will be winning if the favorite wins a landslide victory with a difference of two goals. If the score is, for example, 2-1, half of the amount will be returned to the account, and the other half will be credited with winnings. The purpose of this action is to equalize the chances of the two teams for a possible victory.
Types of gasoline produced
NK Rosneft produces and sells the following brands of gasoline:
- AI92 and AI92+
- AI95 and AI95+
- AI98
Gasoline AI92 and AI92+
A family of gasolines with an octane number of 92 and measured by a research method. This gasoline is a mixture of hydrocarbons with a boiling point ranging from 33 to 205 oC. Gasoline also contains anti-knock additives, which prevent the destructive effect on the car engine.
Gasoline AI95 and AI95+
This class of gasoline is characterized by a higher octane number and, accordingly, greater resistance to gasoline detonation during compression. It is also subject to higher requirements in terms of product purity and less impact on the environment.
Gasoline AI98
Even cleaner and higher quality gasoline. It has a more favorable effect on the driving performance of the car than previous types, and also increases the service life of the engine and reduces specific fuel consumption per kilometer traveled.
Fuel "Fora"
Special premium gasoline. Created taking into account the highest requirements for safety and engine care. Exhaust valve deposits are reduced by 75%. Helps to gradually clean engine parts when switching from regular gasoline. It also contains an additional additive that increases its power, which takes it to a whole new level.
Handicap in football betting
Today, bookmakers offer a colossal number of markets when placing a line on a particular football match. Of course, the most popular of them are bets on total and outcome. However, writing on the handicap of a particular team is also quite in demand. In addition, the list may include bets on handicaps on fouls, warnings, deletions, corners, substitutions and more.
Example. Football. UEFA Champions League. CSKA - Basel. The player bets on Basel to win with a handicap (+1.5). The match ends with a confident victory for the Swiss champion. Accordingly, the bet brings profit to the capper.
Lada Kalina Universal ProstoUniversl › Logbook › Rosneft, AI-92, FORA.
Hello everyone, dear readers.
I decided to bring up for discussion an issue that has been tormenting me for a week, since I refueled with FORA gasoline at a Rosneft gas station, probably everyone has seen it.
In fact, I didn’t have any problems after filling up the 32L, but my interest took its toll. I went online to look for information and came across a lot of conflicting reviews. For some, the car stalled while driving, for others - +200hp. and all-wheel drive on the Matiz became) One of the Draivovites wrote that in cold weather he and Fora had trouble picking up the engine. A common review on the Internet is that Fore contains additives that clean the fuel system and engine. This is supposedly where many problems arose - dirt from the fuel system reached the engine and clogged everything there. The car starts to slow down, but it doesn’t last long until the dirt comes out.
Hence I have questions for knowledgeable people.
1. What additives does it contain?
Are they contained? 2. Does it differ from 95 or 92 “regular” gasoline from the same Rosneft? 3. Does it really clean the system?
And I ask all fans to take part in the discussion in order to find out the opinions of others.
Have you refueled? How does the car feel after refueling?
An important question for me, because... I didn’t go into the nuances of how cleaning additives work - where is the slag removed from the fuel system and engine?
My first comment. According to my feelings, the car drove better, especially “from below,” but the engine is noisier, especially at the top. Is the detonation stronger?

Handicap in tennis betting
The main share of total bets on a tennis match, of course, falls on the outcome of the match. However, if the capper is not satisfied with the odds or wants to play it safe, then it is the handicap that comes to the rescue, both in games and in sets.
Example. Tennis. WTA tournament. Luxembourg. Indoor Hard. A. Kerber - M. Puig. The capper bets on Monica to win with a set handicap (+1.5). The match ends with Puig winning in two sets (6:3, 6:4). Therefore, the forecast turns out to be correct.
Difference between brands
The current list of gasoline brands produced and, accordingly, used in Russia is as follows:
- AI-80,
- AI-92,
- AI-95,
- AI-98.
Regulates the release, or rather, the chemical composition, GOST R 51105-97.
The main difference between brands is the so-called “octane number”. It does not indicate the “purity” of gasoline, but its resistance to detonation, that is, the maximum compression ratio before self-ignition. The higher this indicator, the more powerful engines the fuel can be used.
Conventionally, in pairs they can be divided into 2 groups - regular and premium fuel. The first two brands from the list are used in trucks with a carburetor engine and old domestic cars, respectively. AI-95 and AI-98 are mainly used in the operation of foreign car brands.
Another important aspect of comparison is the reduction in fuel consumption with increasing octane number. On average, for each unit of OC there is a 1% reduction in consumption. That is, the consumption of the “95th” will be 15% less than that of the “80th”.
European Handicap
The European handicap is calculated slightly differently. The main difference is that there is no possibility of a draw and, therefore, a return of the bet. That is, if we take the handicap -1 of the first team (F1) -1, and the match ends with a score of 2:1, then our bet loses. With a -1 handicap bet, we want the team to win by 2 goals or more. Essentially, a European handicap of -1 corresponds to an Asian handicap of -1.5.
Be careful not to confuse the European and Asian handicap!
"FORA" in Ryazan. Drive-thru restaurant chain
If cars with built-in artificial intelligence are the foreseeable bright future, then electric cars in all developed countries except Russia are a naturally developing environmentally friendly present. However, in our country, the moment when there will be less exhaust gases in cities may not be far off. The State Ryazan Instrument Plant (GRPZ) has been developing FORA electric charging stations for several years now and is ready for their mass production. For whom? This was found out by a correspondent of the Business portal YA62.ru
, having visited the research and production complex for the production of civil goods (RPC for TGN) GRPZ.
The battery is charging
“Four years ago, one person looking far into the future came to us - a teacher at the Russian State University of State Technical University, Alexander Bardin - who suggested: let’s make charging stations for electric vehicles,” recalls Evgeniy Starovoitov, chief engineer of the Research and Production Complex for TGN GRPZ. “At that time, no one took such ideas seriously; they were considered the pampering of rich people. And he continued to say: they say, in the West, the boom with electric cars has already begun, the time will come, and in Russia they will wake up, and we will already be ready for it. The idea seemed interesting, and we began to study foreign standards for electric vehicle chargers. It turned out that each developed country plays by its own rules: America has its own standards for charging docking connectors, Japan has its own, China and Europe have their own. However, thanks to the globalization of the market, technologies soon began to strive towards a single European standard. In order not to reinvent the wheel, we also took it as a basis.
The instrument plant has been developing an electric charging station for two years now. At the start of the project, the government of the Ryazan region helped, which provided a subsidy for work on the project. In 2013, the first prototypes of FORA stations were created, which were demonstrated at various exhibitions dedicated to the creation and use of electric vehicles. The first show took place in March 2014 in Kislovodsk. There, the local regional government, together with AvtoVAZ, developed a project to introduce environmentally friendly taxis using VAZ-1817 Ellada electric vehicles, which would transport city guests around the resort area. Unfortunately, this project was never implemented in the future.
Today, the high cost of “green” cars is due to the fact that half the cost of the car is the battery.
“Of course, such transport needs appropriate gas stations,” explains Evgeniy Starovoitov. “And since GRPZ was one of the first in Russia to develop such a project, we quickly found a common language.
In May 2014, in Sochi, as part of the Krasnodar spring forum “Energy Efficiency and Innovation,” the first automobile rally in Russia took place, in which samples of electric vehicles from the USA, Japan and Russia took part. Our country was represented by the brainchild of AvtoVAZ, Lada Ellada. The goal of the friendly run was simple: cover 300 km along mountain roads and, if possible, reach the finish line first.
“The Sochi epic ended with the victory of our team - two cars left the start and both came first,” recalls Alexey Biryukov, head of the design and technology center of the Research and Production Complex for TGN, project manager for FORA electric charging stations. — The American Tropica and the Japanese Mitsubishi iMiev did not reach the finish line at all. Discharged. Some had to be manually rolled to the gas station base, while others had to be transported by tow truck. And the participants of the run were recharged from FORA electric chargers. This is how our development was first featured at an international event.
At the moment, the Ryazan Instrument Plant project consists of two types of charging stations: “fast” and “slow”. The first ones are necessary for emergency charging of an electric vehicle, when you need to fully charge the car in 20 minutes. Such stations are supposed to be installed at classic gas stations so that the owner of the mobile can recharge it while drinking coffee. The slow ones are designed for long hours of charging; they will be installed near shopping centers and office buildings where people spend a lot of time. They are also portable enough to become a personal home car charger.
Network question
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree stating that it is not strictly necessary yet, but it is desirable that electric gas stations should appear at every hydrocarbon gas station in the country. And if they started talking about this at such a high level, it means we should expect big changes in the structure of the automobile and, accordingly, the gas station market.
“The Ryazan Instrument Plant still remains a pioneer and enthusiast in the field of creating electric chargers,” notes Evgeny Starovoitov. “However, a holy place is never empty, and as soon as it becomes clear that the production of electric charging stations is a profitable and profitable business, competitors will begin to appear who want to divide the market.
The main disadvantage of electric vehicles at the moment is their limited range on one full charge. On average - 150-200 km. Consequently, the network of gas stations for such cars should be wide and numerous. So far, only the Americans have been able to make a leap forward: their Tesla electric car can travel about 400 km without recharging.
Otherwise, in terms of operation, experts note only advantages: electric cars accelerate from a standstill faster, while they themselves are absolutely silent. Electric fuel is consumed only when the car is moving, so when the electric car is stuck in a traffic jam, its battery does not run out. And, of course, the main advantage to which the public appeals is environmental friendliness. A green car, as electric cars are popularly called, does not emit any exhaust gases.
Chicken or egg
The development of the market for electric vehicles and electric chargers for them must occur simultaneously. Now the situation in Russia is this: there are no gas stations, so no one buys cars. In turn, if there are no cars, there is no need for gas stations. In developed countries, the state apparatus usually intervenes and invests money in the construction of electric charging infrastructure. After which a system for purchasing electric vehicles from the manufacturer is developed in order to sell them to customers at a discount of up to 20%. Conditions are being created for free parking for such cars, even where they are paid, and travel in public transport lanes is allowed - that is, an advantage is created for owners of electric cars.
In Russia, JSC Rosseti and MOESK (Moscow United Electric Grid Company) are developing a strategy for the development of the electric vehicle market. Therefore, in the question of what should come first - the chicken or the egg, we can safely point to the second: the creation of a charging infrastructure.
The global development of the “green” automobile industry has moved forward precisely thanks to government support. The Americans have advanced the furthest in this matter with their Tesla electric car. Not only does the state pay $5,000 of the purchase, but further charging at any station is free. In addition, Tesla is designed as a luxury car, and therefore has increased comfort. But its most important feature is that it was originally created as an electric car, and not a converted platform of a regular car, as in other countries. In Russia, by the way, Ellada was based on Kalina. What is the disadvantage of such alterations? The configuration of the car allows it to accommodate only a battery that can provide a typical range for a modern electric car - 150-200 km between refills. However, based on the experience of American developers, the European concerns BMW, Audi and Mercedes have taken the path of creating original electric vehicles with their own platform and concept, which will soon be able to compete with Tesla.

Our Lada is better than yours
If you think that the domestic auto industry has decided to limit itself to Ellada, then you are deeply mistaken. AvtoVAZ seriously decided to enter the race with foreign competitors and began creating a full-fledged Lada Vesta electric car. The State Ryazan Instrument Plant plans to develop on-board charging units for this electric vehicle.
“A pilot project for the introduction of electric vehicles is already running in Moscow,” said Alexey Biryukov. — There are approximately 30 electric chargers installed throughout the city, which serve several hundred such cars. Naturally, this is very little for the capital, because owners of electric vehicles mainly have to charge their cars at home, as they say, from an outlet.
It is worth noting that becoming the owner of an electric car is not a cheap pleasure. According to last year's pricing policy, Ellada cost 1.2 million rubles, which is four times more than the classic gasoline Kalina. However, if you compare fuel costs, it costs eight times less to “feed” an electric car, which largely offsets the cost of purchasing an electric car.
“The market for electric vehicles will most likely develop like the market for mobile phones,” suggests Alexey Biryukov. — At first, mobile phones were very expensive and had little functionality, and communication was also expensive, then they became cheaper and more functions appeared, and now they have become very inexpensive. The process of development of electric vehicles in the world and in Russia will follow the same scenario, and in five years we will see that prices for electric vehicles will fall several times.
Today, the high cost of “green” cars is due to the fact that half the cost of the car is the battery. Technologies are developing rapidly, and therefore the price of the issue will fall over time, and the quality of the “filling”, as usual, will increase.
How often do you change your car?
Avid car enthusiasts easily answer this question: the average life of a car is 6-7 years. World statistics think the same. And in this sense, an electric car is not a year inferior to its gasoline counterparts, since the service life of the lithium-ion battery used is also approximately six years. Here again, the United States is at the forefront of production: it has established a powerful research and development center that is developing batteries with greater capacity and lifespan.
“If American developers manage to find a solution to this breakthrough problem, then the entire world design of electric vehicles will step forward, since sooner or later it will take advantage of the experience of its colleagues,” says Evgeniy Starovoitov, chief engineer of the Research and Production Complex for TGN.
GRPP employees believe that electric cars, despite the fact that according to forecasts they are predicted to become very popular in the future, will never completely displace hydrocarbon fuel cars from the market. In the long term, 60% of the market will still be internal combustion engine cars.
“First of all, electric cars are relevant for large cities, where there is already too much gas pollution,” notes Evgeniy Starovoitov. — Statistics show that 70% of harmful emissions in megacities come from vehicles.
About gasoline prices
As soon as mass production of electric vehicles and, most importantly, electric charging stations for them begins in Russia, gasoline prices will begin to fall. This is not a company secret, this is a completely logical market reaction that everyone is talking about.
“Naturally, oil magnates are hindering the development of the electric vehicle market,” notes Evgeniy Starovoitov. “And since they cannot stop the process of developing and increasing production of “green” cars, they are trying to at least slow it down.
Perhaps this is why Russia, having enormous technical potential for creating electric vehicles and charging systems, is currently clearly lagging behind its global colleagues. The Ryazan Instrument Plant, which developed the FORA electric charging station, is, as they say, at a low start and is ready at any time to begin production of chargers on an industrial scale. But no one gives any indication that Medvedev’s recommendation to install electric chargers is unlikely to have attracted the attention of owners of gasoline gas stations.
FORA developers say that it would be a good idea to create a pilot project for a network of electric filling stations in Ryazan. Within the framework of this project, it would be possible to use electric vehicles for the needs of regional administrative bodies.
The successful implementation of this project in Ryazan would contribute to the development of innovative technologies in the region and country. If you don't do this now, you could fall hopelessly behind.
As for the timing of the implementation of the program developed by Russian Grids OJSC for the development of the electric vehicle market in Russia, now, if you believe their plan, we are at the third and final stage of deploying charging infrastructure throughout the Russian Federation and the mass introduction of electric vehicles in the period from 2020 to 2020
We're waiting, sir. So far, enthusiasts of technical progress have not yet run out of battery.

Bet Handicap 1(+3.5) or H1(3.5)
In the lines of bookmakers there is a handicap bet of 1 (+3.5). It means that the bettor bets against the defeat of the first team with a difference of 4 or more goals. This bet is most often used in tennis when the favorite meets the middle player. If the match lasts until two wins in sets, then you can get quotes close to 2. This is how the bet on H1(3.5) is presented in the list:
It happens that in a tennis table, Handicap 1 (+3.5) is included in the main line, but most often it ends up in an additional block of bets. It's the same with football and hockey.
Winning. A bet with H1(+3.5) will bring profit to its author if the first team does not lose by a difference of 4 or more points. For example, a bettor bet on Traktor with +3.5 against CSKA. If the Chelyabinsk team loses 2:5, then the bettor’s deal will be won.
Losing. The bettor's deal will be losing if the hosts lose by a difference of 4 points or more.
Return. If the bookmaker recognizes the match as invalid, all money for the bet on F1(+3.5) will be returned to the bettor’s gaming account.
Example and symbols of a plus handicap
Let's consider another case, if in a match of a clear favorite against a weak team, you are confident that the outsider will be able to impose a fight, but at the same time you are not sure that he will not lose. You can bet with a handicap on an outsider, for example, that he will not lose by more than 2 goals. Thus, insuring your bet in the event of a minimal victory of the favorite. This bet looks like this:
plus handicap in bets
Thus, a handicap allows you to bet on the advantage of one of the teams for a higher odds.
As you already understood, a bet with a handicap can be of two types: on the favorite (minus handicap) or on the outsider (plus handicap). Each bookmaker designates this type of line bet differently. In different bookmakers you may find different designations, but the essence of the bet remains the same for everyone. Let's look at the example of the German Cup match "Bayern" - "Eintracht":
- victory of team 1 with a handicap (numerical value)
- handicap 1 (numeric value)
- F1 (numeric value)
- Bayern handicap (numerical value)
This term refers to the victory of the first team with a handicap. Accordingly, the victory of the second team with a handicap will be indicated:
- victory of team 2 with a handicap (numerical value)
- handicap 2 (numeric value)
- F2 (numeric value)
- Eintracht handicap (numerical value)
This is what the handicap symbol will look like in a bookmaker’s office:
plus handicap in football
Using the example of the same football match “Bayern” - “Eintracht”, we will analyze in more detail what a handicap PLUS is and what values it has.
