The gearbox is one of the main components of a modern car. The main purpose of this unit is to provide communication between the engine and the wheels and transmit torque. The operation of the box is adjusted using special levers located inside the car. In this article we will try to understand the operating principle of this unit, learn about possible malfunctions and how to eliminate them and maintenance features.
Gear shift mechanism.
This component consists mainly of a plate with cutouts that are rectangular in shape. All this is enclosed in the main body and is controlled by a lever.
The speed control mechanism is mounted on studs at the rear of the box. The neutral position is located between the third and fourth speeds and is adjusted by bars with spring guides. The plates are located in the guides to provide mechanical movement of the lower part of the lever.
The drive is based on three rods that connect to forks. Forward gears are engaged as a result of the forks entering special holes in the couplings. The rear entry is activated when the fork enters a special hole.
On previous versions, drivers encountered problems with the lever's operation. It was possible to accidentally engage reverse gear instead of fifth. This issue has now been fixed. The solution was found in the form of installing a blocker, which is located at the end of the traction fork.
Now, to engage reverse gear, you need to squeeze the clutch and only then move the lever to position R. In this case, the locking stop drops below the special lining. In order for the mechanism to work properly inside, when the speed is turned on, constant lubrication occurs due to the splashing of oil. Therefore, to prevent oil leakage from the box and dirt and dust not to get inside, the landing places of the primary and secondary shafts are sealed with oil seals.
Gear shift diagram.
Shifting gears is the same as on most cars. This was done with the goal of unifying vehicles so that drivers, when changing to another car, experience as few problems as possible.
But, at the same time, there are some differences in the design of this car. The transmission on the Niva Chevrolet is equipped with two levers. The first is necessary to select the optimal gear. The second is necessary to activate the differential lock.
The choice of the desired gear is determined by the speed of the vehicle. Recommended parameters can be seen in the table below:
It indicates the maximum speed specific to each specific gear. When it is reached, you need to switch to a higher one.
Malfunctions
Problems with the gearbox can be identified by several signs. The most common ones are:
- transmission noise
- Difficulty shifting gears
- spontaneous shutdown
- oil leaks on the body
Also on restyled models, a knock appears in the transmission after 5-10 thousand kilometers. In this case, it is necessary to pay attention to the conditions under which the knocking appears.
In rare cases, the link fails. This is the unit that is responsible for the interaction between the transmission and the rod. There are 3 main signs that the malfunction is associated with this particular unit:
- Large lever play
- Problems when selecting gear
- Inability to adjust the mechanism
All problems arising with the transmission require immediate elimination, since this directly affects not only the serviceability of the vehicle but also traffic safety.
Change of oil
According to the technical regulations, the oil in the Niva Chevrolet gearbox must be changed every 50 thousand kilometers. If it is not possible to complete the replacement within the specified time frame, this may lead to increased wear of the parts.
To change the oil, you need to prepare the following set of tools and materials:
- keys for 12 and 17
- oil
- waste drain container
After this, the car is installed on an overpass or lift for work. Before the procedure, it is better to warm up the engine so that the oil is less viscous and can be drained to the maximum.
Then, using a rag, clean the drain plugs. Unscrew the filler plug, then the drain plug. After this, you need to substitute a container for processing.
Particular attention should be paid to the drain plug. It has a built-in magnet, which collects all metal particles that are formed as a result of friction of parts. They must be removed manually. If there are too many of them, it means that the lid will not last long.
You can wash the crankcase. To do this, screw in the drain plug and fill in at least 1 liter of special fluid, then start the engine and let it run for at least 3 minutes. The box must be installed in the neutral position
Then the flush is drained in the same way and new oil is added. After filling, you need to start the engine again for 2-3 minutes. After which its level must be checked. If it is below the minimum mark, then you need to top it up.
Choice.
The oil in the Niva Chevrolet box must have certain parameters. They show the freezing level and viscosity of the oil.
In this case, W stands for winter or winter type, which is used at subzero temperatures. SAE is an international classification of oils, according to which every car owner can select the type of product according to specific conditions of use.
In this article we will talk about how to change the oil in the gearbox, transfer case and axles of a Chevrolet Niva. The use of high-quality lubricants for vehicles plays an important role in the operation of any car. The most common process for proper vehicle operation is the oil change process . It is possible to change the oil yourself, without resorting to the help of auto service employees, while significantly saving money.
Selecting transmission oil for Niva-Chevrolet
According to the maintenance regulations, the gearbox oil needs to be replaced after the first 60,000 km. After long-term operation and a total mileage of 120,000 kilometers, the transmission oil for the Chevrolet Niva is changed after the next 45 thousand kilometers. This is due to increased wear of working parts and transfer case units. It often happens that after 150,000 km it is necessary to dismantle worn elements and install new samples.
Before purchasing a new lubricant, you need to understand the brand of oil that is suitable for the gearbox of a particular vehicle. The Chevrolet Niva model has increased cross-country ability thanks to its all-wheel drive design. Lubricant solutions poured into the gearbox, power unit, front and rear axles differ in many technical characteristics. The main attention in choosing a lubricant for each unit is paid to the viscosity indicator, since during vehicle operation, different temperature conditions are created in the components.
What kind of oil to pour into the Chevrolet Niva transmission. It is recommended to fill the gearbox of a Niva Chevrolet car with a lubricant that meets the requirements of the SAE 78w-90 or 80w-85 standards, API-4 category. To change the oil in a Chevrolet Niva gearbox, you will need the following tools:
- steel hex key 12;
- wrench 17;
- container for draining used lubricant.
The sequence of actions for changing the oil in the Niva gearbox is as follows:
- Place the car over an inspection hole or drive it onto an overpass for ease of work. Before draining the old transmission oil, it is necessary to warm up the engine . This is necessary in order to drain the oil from the box as much as possible and without residue.
- Lower yourself into the inspection hole and place a container under the drain hole, taking into account the bend of the exiting stream. It is convenient to use a funnel.
- Clean the locations of the filler and drain plugs on the gearbox, as shown in the photo above.
- First, it is better to unscrew the filler plug, and then the drain plug using a hexagon.
- Now you need to wait until all the used oil has drained to the last drop.
- The drain plug has a special magnet to which all metal shavings are attracted. If there are steel particles on the plug, they must be removed. And another important point from a diagnostic point of view - the more of these particles are present on the cover, the less the gearbox will last.
- When the old used oil is glass, you need to screw in the drain plug and start flushing the crankcase. To do this, you need to fill in about 1 liter of special flushing fluid and let the car run for 2-3 minutes. In this case, you need to turn on neutral in the transfer case and change gears with the clutch.
- Next, the flushing liquid is drained in the same way and new oil is poured in its place in the required volume.
- After filling the oil, you need to check its level on a level surface and start the engine. to let the engine run in first gear for 2-5 minutes After this, the oil level is checked and if it has dropped, then you need to add a little more.

Selecting transmission oil for Niva-Chevrolet
Before choosing transmission oil, your SUV should know its characteristics. Each vehicle has its own owner's manual with all the technical data listed in it. How to choose gearbox oil
? We will look at the characteristics of different types of oils in this section of the article.
To provide the best SUV capabilities, the creators of Niva-Chevrolet developed an all-wheel drive vehicle. For the gearbox, front and rear axles, oil with different viscosities should be selected. This is due to different temperature conditions in the gearbox and on the axles. The gearbox requires oils with a viscosity of 78w-90 or 80w-85; api-4 category for these materials. The best products in this category are the following oils: Mobil 1, TNK and Shell. It is recommended to fill the axles with viscous oil 80w-90 or 85w-90; Category here. API-5. This is the recommended gear oil for Niva-Chevrolet, the best reviews from the manufacturers Zie and Castrol.
Many motorists do not understand these numbers and abbreviations, so we will try to decipher them; because to select the right gear oil you need to know its characteristics.
Explanation of transmission oil numbers and abbreviations
In addition to engine oil, transmission oil is divided into summer and winter. Yes, the W in the viscosity grade stands for winter, it means winter. This type is intended for winter use, but these oils can be used in summer. Gear oil is used in warmer countries where the climate is milder and colder than in the warmer months. Viscosity grades are determined by the usual classification of gear oils (usually there are 9 viscosity levels in this classification). The numbers here indicate the temperature range in which this substance can be used:
- 75w-90. operates at temperatures from 40 to 35 ° C;
- 80w-85. at temperatures from 26 to 35 ° C;
- 85W-90. at temperatures from 12 to 35 ° C
Adhering to this classification, Niva-Chevrolet gear oil is easy for any beginner.
The letter API also denotes a general classification. According to these standards, lubricants are divided into groups. The classification is based on the type of construction and operating conditions. For this system, oils are numbered from 1 to 5. Here, the higher the figure, the more lubricants can be used.

Result of oil selection
The oil transmission for Niva-Chevrolet must be chosen quite carefully, since this machine is intended for off-road use. This means that the gearbox, like the entire mechanism as a whole, is under heavy load. If you use lower quality oil, you will have to replace the transmission after the first load.
It is important to note that universal oil is not suitable for engines and axles. This will affect the performance of the car.
To change the gearbox oil, you need 0.8 liters of grease for the front axle. 1.2 liters for the rear axle. 1.3 liters. Only 3.3 liters for a complete gearbox oil change. In this case, do not mix products of different recipes. it reacts quickly to a malfunction in the car.
Oil tips
As stated above, the purpose of this car is off-road driving. This can be understood from the connection between the transmission and all-wheel drive. The car overcomes various off-road obstacles and is able to withstand various weather conditions. All of these factors influence transmission. To maintain transmission efficiency and reliability, choosing the right lubricant is essential.
When choosing the best gear oil for Niva-Chevrolet, you should adhere to the following recommendations. You should first refer to the vehicle owner's manual provided by the manufacturer. In addition, you should not chase the cost of oil, because a higher price does not always mean good quality. Sometimes it depends on brand recognition. the greater its popularity, the higher the cost of the product. It is also important to change the oil correctly and correctly, this will extend the life of the gearbox and make your ride more comfortable. That is, when buying a used car, you should take into account that it may have more than a hundred kilometers. Therefore, oil changes should be handled with care and changed more often than on new cars. It is advisable to check the level 1-2 times a week so that it does not fall below normal. this can lead to serious transmission deviations.
Preparing for an oil change
To work you need to get hit by a car, so you need to decide in advance. or go to the observation deck, or use the elevator. Important: the oil is pumped in using a special syringe, so it must be purchased in advance. The oil is poured in thoroughly. In addition, before you start, you need to prepare: a piece of cloth to remove grease stains; empty containers for waste liquid; hexagon and wrench. Previously, there was a need to heat the car, since with increasing temperature the viscosity of the oil decreases, it becomes rarer and will be more convenient to drain. You should also keep the new oil warm.
Oil change in Niva-Chevrolet
Let's start with the gearbox. First you need to clean the filler neck and drain plugs on the box, and first screw the filler neck and then the drain plug with the hexagon. Under the sink, you should first pack a trash container. It is important to pay attention to the drain plug. Inside there is a magnet for collecting metal shavings. Sometimes this plug needs to be replaced as its performance decreases over time. After draining, the tube is cleaned and replaced.
Now you need to wash the engine crankcase with a special cleaning liquid. it is filled with a syringe, after which the engine starts. The gear should be in neutral first, and then each gear is shifted alternately. The engine does not run, drain the cleaning fluid. Then you need to pump up the new one using a syringe, let the car run for 10 minutes, then stop and check the oil level, top up if necessary.
Changing the oil in axles follows the same principle.
Changing the oil in the transfer case of a Chevrolet Niva
As for this car model, the oil needs to be changed every 50-80 thousand kilometers . As soon as the car has traveled more than 120 thousand kilometers, the oil should be changed every 45 thousand kilometers. For information! The vehicle operating instructions contain information on the frequency of oil changes, which every car owner must follow. But it would be better if the oil change procedure is carried out a little more often. This is due to the fact that car oil accumulates dust and dirt, which over time leads to contamination of vehicle traffic mechanisms. This is why many car owners advise changing oils more often than indicated in the instructions. To ensure that the oil can be drained without problems, you should start replacing it after the trip. On the way, the oil has time to heat up, thereby taking on a more liquid consistency. Changing the oil in the transfer case is not as difficult as it seems at first glance. To replace it, you need to drive the vehicle into an inspection hole, or raise the car on a lift. You will need a container designed to drain the oil, as well as a rag to remove all smudges. Do not forget about the hex wrench (size 12), and you also need to have a refill syringe .
Draining and filling oil into the Chevrolet Niva transfer case
1. First of all, unscrew the drain plug. Then the oil is poured into the prepared container. 2. The old oil is checked for metal shavings. It is also worth paying attention to the built-in magnet - inspect it. 3. Impurities and dirt on the stopper should be cleaned. Afterwards the plug should be screwed back on. 4. The filler hole has a screw-on plug; it must be unscrewed. 5. Transmission oil is poured through a filling syringe. The ventilation valve is inspected and cleaned . 7. It is necessary to remember or note in a notepad the mileage that was on the car at the time of the oil change.
How to change the oil in the transfer case
For a Chevrolet Niva, the oil change in the transfer case is performed after 50-80 thousand km or more often (in difficult road conditions). After exceeding the total mileage of 120 thousand kilometers, it is recommended to reduce the frequency of oil changes to 45 thousand km.
Did you know? Not all car instructions can be trusted. Experienced drivers recommend updating the oil somewhat more often than indicated in the owner's manual. Country roads lead to the accumulation of dust and dirt in the car's oil, thereby polluting the driving mechanisms. In addition, moisture from the environment gets into the oil. Lubricants play a critical role in eliminating contaminants and other foreign substances.
It is better to carry out work after trips (at least 5 km) in order to heat the oil in the car’s mechanisms, in this case in the transfer case. This is how liquids acquire excellent fluidity.
Changing the oil in the transfer case is not a difficult task, but it requires a painstaking approach. You will need an inspection hole, or you can use a lift. First, prepare an empty container for liquid technical waste and rags to remove spills. You also need a size 12 hex wrench and a refill syringe.
So, how to pour oil into the Niva box? The work is performed in the following order:
- Unscrew the drain plug and allow the oil to completely drain into the container.
- Check the built-in magnet and waste oil for metal shavings.
- Remove dirt and impurities from the plug and drain hole. Screw the drain plug into place.
- Unscrew the filler plug.
- Use a filling syringe to fill in the required amount of fresh transmission oil for the Chevrolet Niva.
- If necessary, inspect and clean the breather (ventilation valve).
Important! In order not to miss the next transmission oil change, do not forget to record the mileage at which the oil change was performed.
Changing the oil in the axles of a Chevrolet Niva SUV
For this procedure, it is recommended to follow vehicle maintenance, as well as the rules for repairing an SUV. Oil changes in vehicle axles should occur every 40 thousand kilometers (applies to cases of Niva operation under normal conditions ). If the car is operated in more difficult conditions, then the oil should be changed much earlier.
Preparation for changing the oil in Chevrolet Niva axles
Changing the oil in a vehicle's axles is identical to the procedure for changing the fluid in the transfer case. You should drive the SUV onto a viewing hole or onto a lift. The volume of oil required is the same as for the transmission. Before changing the oil, you should warm up the Niva. Next, you will need a 12-mm hex key, a 17-mm socket with a knob, a container for draining the used oil, and a rag. You should also make sure you have a refill syringe.
Stages of oil change in Chevrolet Niva axles
1. Unscrew the drain plug. 2. The bolt magnet is inspected to determine whether there are chips on it. If there are no chips, the bolt is screwed back in. 3. The used oil is drained into a prepared container. 4. The drain plug is screwed on and tightened - this procedure applies to the rear axle. 5. The filler plug is unscrewed. 6. Using a filling syringe , add oil in the required volume. 7. The filler plug is screwed in and tightened - again we are talking about the rear axle.

even an inexperienced driver can change the oil in Niva on his own if he follows all the necessary recommendations and the above. If you have any questions about changing the oil in the Niva transmission, ask them in the comments - our specialists will answer them.
Any vehicle needs technical support. The equipment will work successfully only in cases where all mechanisms function without failure. Any motorist knows that the engine will not work if the appropriate motor oil is not poured into it in a timely manner. However, not only the car engine, but also the gearbox needs oil fluid. The process of changing the oil poured into a Chevrolet Niva transmission is not complicated, however, it is certainly necessary to prepare for it and arm yourself with the necessary theoretical knowledge. Many motorists believe that it is best to turn to professionals who will perform such tasks quickly and with the highest quality. This is partly true, but in order to save money, you should not contact a service station; it is better to do everything yourself. We will help you understand the intricacies of the procedure.
Preparing to change the oil in a manual transmission
Before pouring oil into the Chevrolet Niva transmission, certain preparations are carried out. To carry out activities to change the oil in the gearbox, it is recommended to prepare a place for convenient access to the manual transmission pan. This could be an overpass or an inspection hole in a garage.
The list of necessary tools, materials and devices includes the following items:
- A special syringe for conveniently pumping oil.
- Transmission oil of the appropriate brand in the required quantity.
- Special flushing fluid for cleaning the manual transmission crankcase (1 liter).
- A bowl for old mortar.
- Polyhedron, keys for unscrewing/twisting the drain plug.
- Cotton rags.
In preparation for changing the oil in the gearbox, an important point is the mandatory warming up of the transfer case, transmission and the lubricant itself.
Changing the oil in the Niva Chevrolet transfer case
Directly changing the oil in a Niva Chevrolet gearbox begins with cleaning the surfaces in the area of the drain and fill plugs.
- Removing used oil:
- install the machine over the pit;
- place a special container under the crankcase of the box to collect waste fluid;
- after cleaning the holes, unscrew the plugs using a polyhedron and a screwdriver;
- wait for the contaminated oil to come out (a heated system quickly releases waste);
- clean the magnetic layer located on the inside from metal shavings
- plugs (wear elements accumulated in the oil compartment are collected on a magnet);
- Screw the cleaned plug into the corresponding hole.
Flushing the manual transmission housing:
- pour crankcase cleaning fluid through the filler hole using a syringe;
- set the gear shift lever to neutral position;
- turn on the internal combustion engine;
- go through all the speeds one by one, staying at each for a few seconds.
This procedure takes no more than five minutes.
Filling the Niva Chevrolet transfer case with oil:
- unscrew the drain plug;
- release the cleaning composition into a substitute container;
- return the plug to its original position;
- pump the new composition into the crankcase through the filler hole using a syringe;
- plug the filler hole;
- start the power unit;
- engage first gear for ten minutes;
- turn off the engine;
- check the lubricant level;
- add oil in the required amount.
Substitution rules
First of all, you should pay attention to the fact that the design of the gearbox involves the presence of moving elements - gears, which are subject to severe friction during operation. If you do not take any preventive action, the parts are subject to significant wear, and subsequently cause failure of the entire gearbox. In addition, the successful operation of the unit is hampered by metal particles that accumulate between the main elements and enhance the wear process. To prevent such undesirable consequences, transmission oil is poured into the gearbox, providing excellent protective and cleaning functions.
Replacement frequency
In order to improve the performance properties of the gearbox, the manufacturer guides customers regarding the frequency of changing transmission oil in the Niva gearbox. Such a replacement will need to be carried out after a run of 45 - 50 thousand kilometers. It all depends on how strict or loyal the operating conditions were. It is not recommended to exceed the permissible values, since as the mileage increases, the risk of gearbox failure also increases. By not replacing the transmission oil in a timely manner, the driver provokes wear and tear on the mechanical elements of the unit, which will be followed by serious and expensive repairs to the gearbox. This is where you will have to fork out more and incur more significant financial losses.
Transmission oil tolerances
It is not recommended to pour any oil into the Chevrolet Niva gearbox, as well as into other vehicles. Only the car manufacturer has information about what the gearbox needs and what technical characteristics the gear oil should have. Only a person who has a specialized education, understands the composition of various transmission fluids, and also understands how this or that component included in the oil works can make an independent choice of oil fluid.
Not all motorists are well versed in complex technical issues, so the manufacturer, in order to facilitate the process of choosing the right oil, creates recommendations, based on which it is possible to select the optimal transmission fluid that ensures the successful operation of the gearbox. It is these manufacturer’s recommendations that are called tolerances.
How to choose real oil
Having understood the tolerances, it is useful to understand in practice how to behave in a car shop, what to do when you discover a wide range of transmission oils. The Chevrolet Niva is a vehicle designed to work in off-road conditions. If this is how you plan to operate your car, then do not save on purchasing TM, give preference to oil with a high service category.
Synthetic or mineral oil
When you visit a car shop, you will find several types of transmission fluids with recommended tolerances. Among them, synthetic and mineral options stand out. It is not recommended to pour mineral gear oil into a Chevrolet Niva car, since under the influence of low temperatures such oil fluid freezes, losing its characteristics. Changing gears will become difficult. If you apply significant physical effort, you can damage the unit and provoke the need for serious repairs.
It is best to purchase synthetic or semi-synthetic oil that can successfully withstand any temperature.
What does the manufacturer recommend?
The manufacturer recommends giving preference to semi-synthetic oil for the Chevrolet Niva gearbox, produced by the well-known TNK brand. The acceptable cost of such a TM especially attracts the attention of many motorists. However, those who prefer to purchase the highest quality products, regardless of their cost, choose Shell Spirax transmission fluid, for one liter of which you will have to pay at least three times more money.
Professional oil selection
Of course, experienced motorists still recommend not focusing on the price indicator, since expensive transmission fluid will not always outperform a cheaper analogue. It is especially useful to use the recommendations of a professional when the types of oil we indicate are not available for sale.
- at the time of selection, carefully study the information on the packaging;
- make sure that this oil is recommended by the manufacturer;
- buy the required quantity of TM, replace it in a timely manner;
- Check the oil level regularly so that if a shortage occurs, the missing amount can be filled in time into the Chevrolet Niva manual transmission.
How much oil do you need in the box?
It is also important to understand how many liters of oil fluid fit in the gearbox. This information allows you to understand how much oil you will need to purchase at the auto store. Experts point out that the Chevrolet Niva gearbox holds 1.6 liters of transmission fluid. That is, you need to purchase two liters of the car product, since it is sold in most cases in one-liter canisters.
Don't worry about leftovers. When you carry out your next oil level check, you will be able to detect a lack of TM. Just this small remainder will be a real lifesaver, just don’t forget to put the canister in the luggage compartment. Sometimes it may happen that transmission fluid is needed during another trip, during which it will not be possible to buy a new TM.
Tools, accessories, consumables
Many novice motorists are afraid to change transmission fluid on their own because they do not have a large number of tools at their disposal. You don't need many tools. It is enough to prepare a rag, a wrench, a hexagon and any container in which you can collect the waste.
Carrying out an oil change
When everything is ready, you can start changing the transmission oil in the Chevrolet Niva gearbox. Start your car's engine and allow the unit to warm up well. After this, drive the vehicle onto the overpass. If the garage has an inspection hole, you can completely get by with it.
Place a prepared container under the drain hole. Now, arm yourself with a rag and thoroughly wipe the entire area around the drain and filler plugs to completely remove any traces of dirt. Now unscrew the filler plug, and then the drain plug.
The waste will begin to flow out; you just have to wait until the liquid stops flowing. At this point, do not waste time, carefully inspect the drain plug. It has a magnet on it. It is this that attracts metal particles that arise during friction. Clean the magnet from all particles. Now tighten the drain plug, pour about one liter of oil into the crankcase, start the engine and let it warm up. It is also recommended to change all gears at the gearbox one by one.
Now drain the oil again and then fill in a new TM. Check the transmission fluid level, start the engine, engage first gear and wait about five minutes. Check the level again, if everything is in order, it means that you coped with the technical task perfectly and carried out the change yourself.
So, if you follow the instructions flawlessly, everything will work out; you will be able to replace the TM at a high level, while eliminating the need to pay for the services of service station specialists.
Selection of oil according to parameters
- The safest option is to focus on trusted manufacturers of lubricants that have proven themselves not only in the Russian but also in the world market. It is also desirable that there is an official representative office in the country for one or another manufacturer whose product the car enthusiast has chosen. As for new brands that advertise themselves in bright and colorful packaging, you should immediately ignore them. Chevrolet Niva is a fairly modern car, and for its gearbox you should not buy the cheapest oils.
- The lubricant label contains various markings indicating the degree of viscosity, tolerance level, and quality class. The following markings have been developed specifically for the Chevrolet Niva gearbox: API GL-4+ and API GL-4. These designations indicate use in gearboxes. A more advanced lubricant with API GL-5 parameters is also suitable for Niva. This oil contains a large amount of phosphorus and sulfur substances, which are twice as much as GL-4. In general, a liquid with such characteristics has proven itself well in foreign cars.
- When choosing the degree of viscosity, it is important to take into account the climatic factors in which the Chevrolet Niva is operated. So, in this case, let’s pay attention to the types of oil - synthetic, semi-synthetic and mineral. The best option is synthetic, which is also the most expensive oil. But the synthetic composition justifies its cost. It can be used at low temperatures, at which, unlike mineral water, synthetic oil will never thicken. Synthetic is a more fluid and liquid oil, adapted to almost any temperature.
- A universal option is oil with viscosity characteristics 75W-90. With this oil there will be no problems either in winter or in summer.
